Hello, I’m Helen. That’s me, over there, to the right.

I established In the detail back in 2006 when I made the decision to leave the world of PR to concentrate on the aspects of that industry that I enjoyed the most – editing, writing and proof reading.

And so, In the detail was born and I’ve never looked back.

I love working for myself, I love my job and I love words. Good job really, as I work with them all the time.

But what I mean is, I love working with words to create stories, articles, presentations, web copy and blog posts that truly reflect the heart and soul of those they represent. I’ve always loved writing, and I hope I always will.

I live in the North East of England with my husband and daughter and find inspiration in the funniest places. I hope we can work together to find inspiration in your words…
